ANTISET PR

(ANTISETTLING AGENT FOR SOLVENT BASED PAINT)

Introduction

Settling, precipitation & skinning are always problems in paint manufacturing.
The raw materials forming these deposits cannot be put back into suspension easily resulting into substantial loss.
ANTISET PR helps to overcome these problems.

SALIENT FEATURES:

ANTISET PR works on ionic theory i.e. it gives an ionic charge to the particles due to which,
because of repulsive forces in the same charge, the particles do not come close and settle.

Recommendation & Method of use:

ANTISET PR is an easy flowing liquid & can be readily mixed or added at any stage of manufacturing paint.
Still it is always ideal to add half the quantity at grinding stage & the remaining half at later stage to achieve maximum efficiency.
DOSAGE:- 0.5%.

THICKENER GM

(RHEOLOGY MODIFIER FOR SOLVENT BASED ENAMELS)

Introduction

THICKENER GM is a third generation thickener in paint additives for solvent based systems.
THICKENER GM is specifically designed for Alkyd based enamel paints.
THICKENER GM is available in paste form.

SALIENT FEATURES:

Improves flow and brushability of the paint.
Increase in viscosity.
Enhancement in drying properties of paint.
It has no effect on gloss of paint.
THICKENER GM arrests medium separation.
THICKENER GM is recommended for increase in viscosity & to stop settling of heavy pigments like chromes, metal oxides etc.

Recommendation & Method of use:

1) Follow the regular formulation & procedure of manufacture of paint.
2) Add 0.2 to 0.5% THICKENER GM in 100 Ltrs. of paint batch at the grinding stage only for better results.

THICKENER M

(RHEOLOGY MODIFIER FOR SOLVENT BASED PRIMERS)

Introduction

THICKENER M is the new generation thickener in paint additives for solvent based systems.

SALIENT FEATURES:

Main Advantages of THICKENER M over other products like Aluminium Stearate & certain available brands are as follows:

No reduction in gloss with the use of THICKENER M.
Quantity required to use is 50% less than the other products like Aluminium Stearate etc. i.e. for 100 Kgs. Primer only 500 gms. of THICKENER M is required instead of 1 Kg. Aluminium Stearate.
No jelly formation is required for THICKENER M.
It is recommended for viscosity appearance in can & to stop settling of heavy pigments like Chromes, Oxides, and Extenders etc.
THICKENER M arrests vehicle separation.

Recommendation & Method of use:

0.5% THICKENER M is to be added in primers at grinding stage only, for better results.
